Developing Tablet PC Applications
Aims and objectives
The Tablet PC is the latest in a series of steps towards creating
electronic paper. With the reduction in cost of processing power and
increase in software complexity the features made available on the
Tablet PC platform can change the way we interface with our computers.
The one day course consists of discussions of Tablet PC technologies
and 50% of the time will be spent in hands on exercises where the
delegate can gain real experience developing Tablet PC aware technology.
This helps to reinforce an understanding of how to best utilise this technology.
To get the most out of this course delegates should be experienced
programmers with some exposure to either VB.NET or C#. An understanding
of component based design and development would be advantageous.

- Working with Ink
- Sharing Ink data with serialisation, the clipboard and drag and drop
- Using recognisers
- Considering the User Interface
- Real Time Stylus
