Helen Chant

Helen Chant graduated with a Diploma of Business Management in Canberra. This was a developer focused diploma, covering programming concepts through to development languages. Helen then worked as a developer on a variety of projects over a period of three years using Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Cobol and Forte. The next 18 months saw her work for a small software house programming in a Microsoft environment on both web and desktop applications using ASP, Javascript, VB, IIS, SQL Server, DTS, Access and XML.

Since joining dotNET solutions in 2002 Helen has specialised in ASP.NET. She passed her ASP.NET exams using both VB.NET and C# while the exams were in beta. Today, Helen specialises in developing web based solutions and has a special interest in Sharepoint.

Certifications achieved: MCSD(.NET), MCAD(VB.NET), MCAD(C#), MCSD(VB6), MCT

The course covers how to perform a clean installation of WSS 3.0 and also describes all the prerequisites required to select the most appropriate method for upgrading WSS from 2.0 to 3.0 in a specific scenario.
